Terms of Service

Last updated: 11 September 2026

These terms apply when you buy from marinemoore.com. Placing an order means you accept them.

Who we are

Marine Moore, 65 W Kaahumanu Ave, Kahului, HI 96732, United States. Contact: sales@marinemoore.com, (808) 555-0188.

Orders

Your order is an offer to buy. A confirmation email acknowledges we received it; the contract forms when we accept the order and begin fulfilling it. We may decline an order — for example if an item is unavailable, if a price was listed in error, or if we cannot build the part as specified. If we decline after you have paid, we refund you in full.

Custom orders and measurements

This is the most important clause on this page.

You are responsible for the dimensions you give us. We build custom parts to the measurements you enter — we cannot verify them against your boat. A part built accurately to an incorrect measurement is not a defect, and is not returnable.

Two things to get right before ordering a door:

  • Overall size is the outside of the finished door, including the flange that sits on your deck or bulkhead.
  • Cutout size is the hole it drops into, and is 1½” smaller than the overall size.

Our door builder shows both as you configure. Measure the hole, then order the overall size that covers it. If you are unsure, send us the measurements through our contact form before ordering and we will check them with you.

Pricing and payment

Prices are in US dollars and may change without notice. Payment is taken in full at checkout. See our Payment Policy.

Delivery

Delivery estimates are estimates, not guarantees. We are not responsible for carrier delays once a parcel has left our shop, though we will always help you chase one. See our Shipping Policy.

Risk of loss passes to you on delivery. If a parcel arrives damaged, tell us within 5 business days and we will make it right.

Returns and warranty

See our Return & Refund Policy and Warranty Policy. Both form part of these terms.

Fitness for purpose

Our parts are built for the marine environment, but you are responsible for deciding whether a given part is appropriate for your vessel and for installing it correctly. Nothing we sell is certified as structural or safety equipment unless we say so in writing.

Using this website

You may not use this site to break the law, interfere with its operation, scrape it at a volume that degrades it for others, or misrepresent who you are. We may suspend access if you do.

Intellectual property

The content of this site — text, photographs, drawings and design — belongs to Marine Moore. You may not reproduce it commercially without our permission. King StarBoard® is a registered trademark of its owner and is referenced here descriptively.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, our total liability arising from an order is limited to the amount you paid for it. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses — haul-out costs, lost charter or fishing days, or labour to remove and refit a part.

Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Hawai‘i, and the courts of Hawai‘i have jurisdiction over any dispute.

Changes

We may update these terms. The version in force is the one published when you place your order.
